WHAT
What SLAPshow was created for is the automotive enthusists to give them a chance to compete and learn in the competitive area of car shows and sound-offs.  SLAP offers 3 formats for competition:
                                        *SLAPdB
SPL bass off competition based upon sub woofers and either
bass notes or bass tones over a timed trial.
Classes are divided by woofers and stock clarifications of the
                                            entered vehicle.
                                        *SLAPdBq
Sound Quality event where contestants are judged on the
sound quality, stereo installation and bass test.
Classes are divided by wattage in the entered vehicle and
the status of the competitor( Novice, Amateur, Pro & Expert)
                                        *SLAPshow-n-shine
Show-n-shine is the car show portion of our events. The
entered vehicles are divided into classes of Mild, Wild, Special
Interest, Motorcycle/Bike and other. Mild and wild are divided
by door classifications, 2 and 4 door. Special Interest and
Motorcycle/Bike may have seperate catagories but usually
compete versus other of their kinds.
WHERE
Where we hold our events are mostly at stereo retail stores. In the past our events have taken place at parks, beaches, night clubs, bars, concerts, city fairs, race tracks, football stadiums, automotive parts and sales locations and so many more places. If you can think it we most likely have held an event there. For our 2009 season events check out our main page.

WHEN
Our events are held on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Friday events are held at night with start times usually after 5 pm. Saturdays events can both be night day time events. Check with the show host on the time for the events. Sundays events are held during the day and we try to have the events over by 5pm.

WHY
Why compete or have an event? Compete and find new friend and or learn new ways to better your chances at taking home an award. Learning what you can do to earn more points or even get a higher SPL reading can be some of the small things learned from competing. By holding or hosting an event you are able to showcase your store or retail venue to possible customers or new friends who share the same passion as you.
